Model Forge
Generate game-ready 3D models from a text prompt or reference image.
Model Forge turns a text prompt or a reference image into a game-ready 3D model using Tripo AI. Output is a .glb file with embedded PBR textures that drops straight into Blender, Maya, UV Studio, and Paint Booth — and converts cleanly to YDR for FiveM. Every model is polygon-customizable and saved to your personal library.
Two ways to generate
- Text-to-3D — describe the object in up to 1,000 characters, with an optional negative prompt to steer quality.
- Image-to-3D — upload a reference image (PNG, JPG, or WebP up to 20 MB) of a single object on a plain background, plus optional instructions for materials and scale.
Workflow
- 1Pick a mode: Text-to-3D or Image-to-3D.
- 2Enter your prompt (and optional negative prompt), or upload a reference image with extra instructions.
- 3Set the max polygon count with the slider (1k–100k, default 10k).
- 4Click Generate 3D Model — 100 tokens are reserved and generation runs for 1–3 minutes.
- 5Watch the live progress, then preview the result in the 3D viewer (toggle wireframe, reset camera).
- 6Save it to your My Models library, or download as GLB, FBX, or OBJ.
Export formats
Once you have a model, recover its UV layout in UV Studio and bundle it for your server with PackBench.
Frequently asked questions
What output format does Model Forge produce, and is it FiveM-ready?
GLB is the default output — a glTF binary with embedded PBR textures that opens in Blender, Maya, UV Studio, and Paint Booth. For FiveM, import the GLB into Blender to clean it up and convert to YDR. You can also download FBX or OBJ.
Can image-to-3D reconstruct an existing prop or vehicle part?
Yes. Upload a clear, well-lit photo or render with the object centered on a plain background, then add extra instructions to guide shape cleanup, scale, or materials for a better result.
How long does a generation take, and can I close the tab?
Most generations finish in 1–3 minutes. Stay on the page while it runs — the status and progress percentage update live, and closing the tab can interrupt the task.
What happens if a generation fails?
If Tripo reports a failure or you cancel, your 100 tokens are automatically refunded. An error is shown so you can refine the prompt or image and try again.
Can I download a model before saving it to my library?
Yes. Once a generation succeeds you can download it straight to your computer, or save it to your My Models library first — both options stay available.
What polygon count should I use for FiveM?
The slider runs from 1k to 100k faces (default 10k). Props are typically 5k–30k and vehicles 30k–80k+. You can always re-import into Blender and optimize with LODs afterward.
